Call on me to help you remember WHO YOU ARE. When you feel lost or out of sorts, I will bring you back to balance and return you to the core of your being, which is pure love. I am here to bring you comfort and stability. As you become grounded and centered you will become clear and focused on your power and your place in this world.

God and the Angels want to communicate with you and clarity is the key to getting the guidance they have for you. When your mind is clear and focused and your body is calm and relaxed, you can access information that can help you make better decisions and you will get the answers that you need. However, staying focused can be challenging here in the physical world. Archeia Christophina has some suggestions to help make it easier for you.

Quiet Your Mind

Your brain is made to think. That’s its job, but most are working overtime and they don’t know how to take a break from thinking. In order to get new inspiration and the answers to your questions, you have to learn how to give your mind a break from all that thinking. Journaling is one of the easiest ways to do that. Look at it this way; your brain is like a hard drive with limited space. Journals are like the cloud. Your brain can get overloaded to the point where you’re not utilizing it to the best of your abilities. Like a computer running on low memory, you start moving much slower – your thinking becomes sluggish or you go on autopilot where you think about the same thing over and over. Using a journal to transfer that data into a file that you can refer to at any time is the perfect way to keep your inspiration level high and your mind clear.

Creating a God Box is another useful tool for helping you to quiet your mind. You can also call this your Higher Self Box, or Angel Box – whatever works for you. It doesn’t have to be a box – it could be a jar or bag – whatever is convenient, but make it special in some way. The Box works like this: quite simply you write down whatever you can’t stop thinking about, then you place the piece of paper in your God Box and relinquish control of the situation to God and the Angels. Whenever you begin thinking about the situation again, you remind yourself that you have turned it over to God and the Angels and they are working everything out for your best and highest good. The more you practice this, the easier it gets to quiet your mind. It’s always fun to check in on your God Box periodically to see what thoughts you put in it and how God and the Angels worked everything out for you.

Create Balance

Focusing on your breath is the fastest way to bring you back into balance if you are feeling overwhelmed. When you pay attention to the way you breathe, you naturally become grounded and centered. If you are breathing correctly, you take your mind off your thoughts and you will calm down. No matter what you’re doing, mentally tune into your breathing patterns and observe the flow of your breath. Ideally, your breathing should stem from your abdominal area, allowing for full, slow, complete breaths. If you find yourself in a state of overwhelm and short of breath, practice inhaling and exhaling to the count of six. The simple act of breathing brings immediate clarity.

Another way to focus on your breath and create balance in your life is through exercise. Exercise is usually associated with benefits such as improvements in strength, aerobic capacity and weight loss. But we often overlook that exercise can also be used as a meditation. Meditation is a tool used to get out of your head and back into your body. Because meditation is a body-oriented discipline, any exercise that you do will help you let go of your thoughts, get out of your mind, and come back to your center.

Connect with Nature

There’s an old adage that says to “go get some fresh air” when you feel stuck or cooped up inside. Fresh air is the most essential element needed to sustain life. Your body craves fresh air because it revitalizes your mind and your soul. The main reason why nature helps to keep you grounded is because of the calming and quieting effect it has on your mind. In nature, your mind has less information to process and you don’t wear yourself out with concentrating and contemplating. Nature acts like a mantra that quiets the noise that runs through your mind. When you can get to a place where you can just be, you are filled with an inner stillness and this is your direct connection with God.

Owning a pet is another great way for you to connect with nature and to clear your mind. People claim to feel more calm and relaxed after spending time with their pets. Simply being around your pet can make you feel more grounded and centered. Not only will it make you feel better, but your pet will love it, too. The simple act of playing with your pet shows you what unconditional love is all about. So make sure you spend more time with your pet in order to come back to your center, get clear, and to know you are pure love.
